We are looking for an enthusiastic and commercial Legal Counsel to join Group Legal & IP at the LINAK Headquarter in Guderup, Denmark. You will be a key employee in supporting the global LINAK organization in all legal matters with a focus on the commercial side of the business.

You will become part of a dynamic, commercially oriented, and entrepreneurial work environment. In close co-operation with colleagues in Legal, your job is to support the business with various legal tasks primarily focusing on drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with suppliers and customers as well as providing advice to our commercial departments.

As you will be dealing with legal issues of varying complexities, with an opportunity to create solutions for a lot of people, it is important that you can simplify complex topics and communicate them effectively.

Primary tasks

• Manage different types of commercial contracts;
• Support our global commercial departments with legal advice;
• Oversee compliance projects and train colleagues in competition law, export control and data privacy; and
• Handle ad hoc tasks across the group.

You

This position is open to both recent graduates and those with some experience. The most important thing is that you have the right learning mindset, passion to create relationships across the organization, and a willingness to help with whatever needs solving. Moreover, you:

• are a trained Master of Laws, Cand.Merc.Jur or similar; preferably have experience from an international group or a large law firm where you have worked with commercial contracts;
• are eager to understand the business in order to provide commercially oriented legal advice;
• thrive in a job with close interaction with your stakeholders and where the challenges are continuously changing;
• can work independently and structured while paying attention to all the crucial details; 
• enjoy working in an informal atmosphere, take initiative, and have a great sense of humor; and
• speak and write English on a professional level and it would be an advantage if you can communicate in Danish and German.
