The NNF center for Stem Cell Medicine (reNEW) is a newly funded research center within the medical science section of the University of Copenhagen. The center aims to bring stem cell science closer to the stage of being useful to treat or improve difficult-to-treat diseases like Parkinson's. The scientific community is made up of close to 120 researchers and specialist staff. As a center, we seek an additional service-minded laboratory attendant to support common tasks within the laboratory. You will work closely with the center’s laboratory operations teams while servicing the entire center to ensure proper handling of goods reception, storage and stocking of common consumables, reagent list maintenance, and laboratory waste management. We hope to welcome the new team member by 1 July 2025 or as soon as possible.
Your tasks will include: - Proper reception and storage of goods and temperature-sensitive materials
- Collection and forwarding of delivery notes to the purchasing officer
- Stocking of common laboratory consumables within the laboratory
- Removal of laboratory waste and proper disposal within the universities waste management system
- Maintenance of reagent lists within the laboratory management system
- Recording and communicating building issues with the operations team
- General cleaning in the common areas in the lab
- Participate in maintaining organized common areas in the lab
- Additional future task could be added to the position profile if the workload permits
Your qualifications and personal skills: - You are reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- You approach your task systematically and you can work independently and thoroughly.
- You are service minded and conscientious and enjoy working in an international environment.
- You are able to communicate in English
Employment conditions Employment will be based on a full position resulting in 37 hour per week which have to be ideally spread equally from Monday to Friday. Employment conditions will be in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Organizations of Public Employees – governmental institutions (the OAO-S collective agreement) and under “Lager og–handelsarbejdere i hovedstaden”.
