The Group of Professor Kim Jensen is seeking a laboratory assistant. The position is for 1 year, 10 hours per week.

About Us
The Jensen Group wants to understand how the epithelium is maintained long-term and how this is altered upon tissue damage to secure regeneration by using the intestinal epithelium as system to study cell behaviour.

Your Tasks:
Your tasks will include, but not be limited to:

  • Preparing buffers, media, and basic reagents
  • Performing sterile work under supervision
  • Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the laboratory environment
  • Entering data for the research group
Your Profile
You are reliable and enjoy routine tasks. You work independently and in a structured manner, and you are proficient in English, both written and spoken. Since our research group includes many international researchers, English is our working language.

Salary and Terms of Employment
You will be employed at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. The position is 10 hours per week, limited to 1 year, and can be filled as soon as possible.

Employment as a laboratory assistant is in accordance with the collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and OAO (OAO-S Collective Agreement) and the organizational agreement with HK/STAT for laboratory technicians.

There will be an opportunity to negotiate an individual supplement according to the rules of the new salary system.
