The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Medicine, reNEW, under department of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

The Group of Associate Professor Mariaceleste Aragona is seeking two laboratory assistants. The positions are for 2 months, and one for 1 year, both 10 hours per week.

About Us

The Tissue Architecture Lab investigates how different cell types coordinate their behaviors to build tissues with specialized structure and function, with the long-term goal of developing replacement organs for regenerative therapies.

Your Tasks:

Your tasks will include, but not be limited to:

  • Preparing buffers, media, and basic reagents
  • Assist under supervision with collection and processing of samples
  • Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the laboratory environment
  • Entering data for the research group
Your Profile

You are reliable and enjoy routine tasks. You work independently and in a structured manner, and you are proficient in English, both written and spoken. Since our research group includes many international researchers, English is our working language. You may be a student at our Faculty.

Salary and Terms of Employment

You will be employed at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. The position is 10 hours per week. One position is limited to 1 year, and one position is limited to 2 months. Start date as soon as possible or after agreement.

Employment as a laboratory assistant is in accordance with the collective agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and OAO (OAO-S Collective Agreement) and the organizational agreement with HK/STAT for laboratory technicians.

Salary is within the of the new salary system.
