Are you interested in microbial natural product research and working in a team? We have the task to deliver sustainable biological solutions inspired from nature to help crops cope with abiotic stress and make advances in agriculture which is threatened by climate changes.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced technician who will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks and together fulfil our ambitious goals. We have many years of experience in natural product chemistry, microbiology and plant assays, and you will be part of this pioneering effort.
The job
You will take care of the screening of microbes and metabolites as biostimulants. You will provide data to the research team as an active and engaged participant in research projects. You will be part of a team and coordinate the screening and analysis endeavor.

As a technician at DTU Bioengineering, you are placed in a key position to support both the researchers and management of the lab. You must be able to both maintain the overall overview of the entire project process and be included in the planning with the researchers.

Salary and appointment terms
Salary and appointment terms are in accordance with the OAO-S Joint Agreement and the organization agreement for Office Clerks, Laboratory Technicians and IT staff (HK/stat). The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
The period of employment is permanent. The starting date is 1 December 2025 or upon agreement.
