The Role
We are looking for an experienced cook who is confident working in a busy café kitchen and takes pride in clean, well-executed food. You will be responsible for daily food preparation, service execution, and maintaining high hygiene and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute café and brunch dishes to a high and consistent standard
Handle daily mise en place and service independently when required
Ensure correct portioning, presentation, and food quality
Maintain cleanliness and structure in the kitchen (HACCP standards)
Support menu development, prep planning, and waste reduction
Collaborate closely with front-of-house and kitchen team
Handle busy weekend services calmly and efficiently
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Has minimum 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced café or brunch environment
Has strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
Works independently, is reliable, and takes ownership of their station
Has a positive attitude and strong team mindset
Enjoys working with seasonal, mostly plant-based ingredients
Nice to Have
Experience with vegetarian / plant-forward cooking
Interest in Nordic, Asian, or modern café cuisine
Experience with prep planning and ordering support
