Diamond Slice, located on Blågårdsplads in Nørrebro is looking for a kitchen manager.

We are a busy, popular, fast paced and pretty fun pizza restaurant that was recently named the 6th best in the world by Time Out magazine.  Diamond slice is beloved year round for fantastic pizza, a great selection of beer and amazing vibes.

We are looking for the right person to help run our kitchen.

Job duties include:

• Daily management of the kitchen including
  • Ordering
  • Receiving of goods
  • Planning prep
  • Directing and allocating staff resources
• Point of contact for FOH during service
• Controls quality of food leaving the kitchen.
• Point of contact for catering customers
• Bi weekly meetings with the management team
• Keeping up with egen kontrol
• Controlling busy services
  • Organizing tickets
  • Controlling online ordering portals
  • Updating FOH as to wait times or complications
  • Motivating and directing staff

Note: this is not an administrative role.

The right candidate:

• is interested in working in a fast paced environment and enjoys being busy.
• is comfortable in a leadership role.
• can juggle multiple tasks.
• feels comfortable talking to guests.
• can communicate effectively in english.
• can work evenings
• is happy to work every other weekend
• has kitchen experience

Note: pizza experience is not essential.  We can train you.

Salary info:

A trained, experienced manager makes 185dkk per hour.  To be eligible for this salary you need to be able to:

• Make and understand the pizza dough.
• Make pizza at the same speed and consistency as the rest of the staff.
• Understand how to operate our various sales portals.
• Control a busy weekend service.

Candidates who need training start at 170dkk per hour and move up when they demonstrate proficiency in the above.  Let us know when you think you're ready, and we'll take the discussion.  We would prefer to pay you more.

The position is full time.  Salary is paid for hours worked - if we get busy and we need to stay longer, you get paid more.  If it's slow, we don't send people home.  We can gaurantee full time hours.

The position starts when we find the right candidate.
