We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bakery. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships, and ensuring smooth operations from front-of-house to behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Customer Service & Client Relations

• Respond promptly to customer emails with the same high level of service as in-store.
• Go the extra mile to resolve customer needs and concerns.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients to develop meaningful collaborations.

- Operational Management

• Oversee daily operations to ensure the shop runs efficiently.
• Maintain and update Trello boards weekly, giving bakers full visibility of upcoming orders.
• Manage product and supply orders (e.g., juices, water, packaging, and collateral).
• Ensure POS systems, signage, and shop materials are kept up to date.
• Keep Planday schedules accurate and well-organised.

- Team Leadership

• Create and manage staff schedules to match business needs.
• Lead staff training to uphold high service and product standards.
• Support recruitment, including interviewing and onboarding new team members.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and motivated work environment.

- Support & Collaboration

• Work closely with the General Manager on ad-hoc projects and business priorities.
• Provide operational insights and feedback to improve efficiency and the customer experience.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in retail, hospitality, or bakery/food service management.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with scheduling systems (e.g., Planday) and POS/till software.
• Comfortable using digital tools such as Trello for order and task management.

This is a full-time position with varied working hours from Tuesday to Saturday, between 06:00 and 19:00.
