What are you going to do? As a junior developer in our automation team, you will be an important part of DSB's digital development.

You will work with developing robots, automating tests and diving into complex errors. You will be part of a professional scrum team, where we together create digital solutions that make everyday life easier for your colleagues at DSB.

A typical day might look like this: You begin your day engaged in a design discussion about a reusable library with a fellow developer. Next, you implement the new features within this library. Afterwards, you shift your focus to creating an automated test that ensures a robot is performing its tasks as expected.

After lunch, the day can continue with problem-solving and optimizing existing solutions or developing a robot that will automate a specific work task.

You will also have the opportunity to dive into new tools and technologies within RPA and automation. You leave the office after a good day where you have helped several parts of the organization in building automations.

Your tasks:

  • Development and maintenance of RPA solutions
  • Automation of tests and optimization of processes
  • Troubleshooting and fixing complex bugs
  • Collaborate with the team to create intelligent automation solutions

We imagine that you work approx. 10-15 hours a week. We will coordinate your working hours together, considering your exam periods and other obligations.

Who are you We imagine that you are currently studying IT, computer science, engineering, software development or another relevant education.

You are a few semesters into your bachelor or just started on your master.

You should be curious about new perspectives and solutions. It is entirely okay to question existing methods and explore new approaches.

Furthermore, you are ready to collaborate and engage in interdisciplinary contexts.

We imagine you as a student with an interest in working with technology and digital tools.

You take part in the tasks and are motivated to learn through hands-on experience.

What can DSB offer you? You can look forward to

  • Developing your capabilities and skills
  • Flexible working hours and the option to work from home
  • Free transportation with DSB
  • Access to DSB's gym and PureGym
  • Employment according to the collective agreement between DSB and "Akademikerne" (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations)

All our students, interns, and recent graduates are invited to join our Young Professionals' Network - an internal network, managed by its members and supported by HR.

This is where you meet for socialising, business inputs, and professional discussions.
