Are you ready to take the next step in your procurement career? As a Junior Category Buyer at Actona, you’ll be part of a dynamic team focused on optimizing supplier performance and driving commercial success. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain deep insight into supplier management, international sourcing, and strategic procurement. You’ll work closely with Category buyers, Category Directors and internal back office, gradually transitioning from internal coordination to external supplier responsibilities, including travel to the Far East.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage a portfolio of suppliers in collaboration with the Category buyers and Category Director.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance in line with Actona’s KPIs and strategic goals.
• Participate in supplier screening and onboarding, introducing them to “The Actona Way”.
• Support price negotiations by collecting and preparing relevant documentation.
• Gain in-depth product knowledge through training and factory visits.
• Handle complaints and initiate development tasks based on briefs.
• Ensure high-quality service and timely delivery with minimal errors.
• Use tools like NAV, PIM, and QARMA to streamline daily operations.
• Travel approximately 30–40 days per year.
