On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Junior Accountant to provide operational accounting support during a parental leave period. The position is based at the client’s Copenhagen office on Gammel Kongevej 60, where you will join a friendly and collaborative finance environment.

You will report to the Chief Accounting Officer located in Sweden and work closely with the local finance team. Although part of the team sits across borders, communication flows easily, and everyone is eager to help and support one another.

• Record and reconcile incoming customer payments (Accounts Receivable)

• Prepare and analyze Overdue Lists, manage outstanding invoices, and send reminders

• Maintain the customer database (accounting view) in SAP

• Record and process vendor invoices (Accounts Payable)

• Execute vendor payments and maintain vendor master data in SAP

• Perform bank reconciliations

• Book employee travel and entertainment expenses

• Assist in intercompany reconciliations

• Support Intrastat reporting as needed

• Provide operational accounting support to the team during the closing period

• 1–2 years of experience within accounting or finance, ideally with exposure to controlling

• Basic understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes

• Experience with SAP is mandatory; knowledge of other accounting systems is an advantage

• A fast learner with a proactive and structured work approach

• Collaborative, humble, and willing to learn

• Comfortable working independently while maintaining close communication with colleagues abroad

• Professional in English. Danish or another Scandinavian language is an advantage but not required
