We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic IT student to assist our IT Support team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop hands-on IT skills while supporting a busy IT help desk environment. You will work closely with experienced IT staff, helping them handle incoming support requests, prepare equipment, and carry out routine maintenance tasks.
Your primary tasks:
- Support the 1st Line IT Support team in handling service requests.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving basic hardware, software, and network issues.
- Help with setting up laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices for new and existing users.
- Document IT procedures and workflows.
- Help maintain IT inventory and track issued equipment.
About you:
You are a curious and motivated IT student who enjoys problem-solving and learning by doing. You bring a proactive approach, take ownership of your work, and are eager to expand your skills in a supportive team environment.
- Currently enrolled in an IT-related education.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and standard software.
- Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
- Organised and willing to learn new technologies and processes.
- Fluent in English
