As Global Compliance Manager at ABENA, you will play a key role in ensuring that compliance and quality frameworks are consistently implemented and aligned across our global entities. Starting ideally on March 1, 2026, you will safeguard regulatory adherence, ISO‑certified systems, and risk management processes - strengthening internal audit readiness and business continuity - so we maintain operational integrity and position compliance and quality as a true competitive advantage.
As a people leader, you set direction, communicate clearly, and create alignment, supporting the team to leverage their full potential. You drive compliance excellence, champion quality management and global process alignment, coordinate effectively with key functions, and continuously maintain and improve ISO‑certified systems to keep us audit‑ready.
Please note that this position does not offer a fully remote arrangement. While flexibility and the option to work from home are available, this will be subject to prior agreement with your leader.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Lead and develop a team of compliance specialists, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Champion implementation of Global compliance programs and quality systems.
Monitor regulatory developments and guide the team in translating requirements into actionable policies and processes.
Ensure audit readiness by providing leadership and oversight for internal audits and external certification processes.
Lead risk management and business continuity initiatives, including workshops and scenario planning.
Coach and develop team members, enabling them to leverage their full potential and deliver high-quality results on a global scale.
What we hope you bring
Proven leadership with strong people management skills, including coaching, performance development and the ability to inspire, guide and create a positive people culture, and foster collaboration across diverse backgrounds.
Experience working within and navigating complex compliance industries, i.e. medical devices, quality management, regulatory affairs, environmental and international regulations.
Experience working within a global framework and taking charge of change management implementations within such a context.
Technical Knowledge and an understanding of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 13485) and regulatory frameworks (EUDR, MDR).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in stakeholder management
Ability to adapt in a dynamic landscape and make sound decisions to secure clarity of direction for the team
Danish is a great advantage. English skills, both verbal and in writing, professional/negotiation level are mandatory
