About the job and tasks:

You will work from your home office. You are reporting hierarchically to Service Manager, Koen Vanrintel, based in Arendonk and you will work close together with Sales Manager, Ulrich Knudsen, based in Aalborg.

Keeping in close contact with the service operations at the Belgian based HQ, you will build strong relationships at multiple levels with your customers.

Your main tasks:

Field Service

• Conduct field service calls providing installation, commissioning, emergency repair, preventive maintenance, audits, retrofits, and training services
• Conduct site visit meetings with customer contacts to explain job scope and work completed. Conduct training with customers personnel to ensure understanding of the sequence of operations, proper functionality, and general maintenance of equipment
• Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs
• Build long lasting relationships/partnerships with ARODO customers
• Comply with company, customer and industry safe working practices
• Ensure paperwork, timesheets, SMS-entries, expenses and other paperwork functions are completed promptly, on time and to a high quality.

Communication

• Communicate effectively with corporate (service) management and global service support team
• Communicate pro-actively with customers and support the Field Service Team to attain industry-leading levels of customer service
• Provide equipment reliability feedback to quality engineering and collaborate on improvements

Other

• Adhere to expenditure budgets related to territory sales activity at all levels
• Comply to industry, company, and customer safe working practices

With your base in the central part of Jutland/Vejle/Kolding you shall be able to travel a lot, primarily in Denmark, but also in the other Scandinavian countries and the northern part of Germany. There will also be travelling to Arendonk in Belgium due to meet colleagues and training/meetings.

Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have +5y experience in a field service environment and +3y experience with diagnosing, troubleshooting, emergency service and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment problems in the field.

If you have experience with Industrial packaging lines, it will be an advantage but not a requirement.

The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar relevant education.
