We are looking for a skilled and curious individual to lead, operate, and develop our Digital Lab and Design Lab, supporting users hands-on while also shaping our strategic direction within digital innovation. Your work will help students and startups “make the digital real” by transforming ideas into functional prototypes using digital technologies, such as soft computing, embedded systems, AI, XR, and other emerging technologies.
Your role is to make the digital tangible
As manager of the Digital Lab and Design Lab, your core mission is to manage and develop these spaces to meet the needs of our users and expand what’s possible with digital technologies at Skylab. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations and long-term development, working closely with a student assistant and Skylab colleagues.
You will support students, researchers, and startups in building prototypes and digital tools. You will also play a central role in strengthening Skylab’s digital community, including fostering collaboration across Skylab and DTU departments, connecting with strategic research initiatives, and promoting awareness and adoption of emerging digital technologies.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC), or another relevant collective agreement.
The position is a full-time position. Starting date is 1 September or according to mutual agreement.
The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
