Dansk Multietnisk Forening in partnership with ZamNordic ApS — is looking for a proactive and culturally aware Sales Assistant to strengthen our activities related to Zambia–Nordic collaboration, with a focus on sustainable development, cross-cultural exchange, and renewable energy projects.
About the Role:
You will work at the intersection of Nordic innovation and African opportunity, leading outreach, communication, and business development efforts. Your focus will be to promote partnership-building between Zambian stakeholders and Nordic companies through digital campaigns, events, and strategic dialogues.
Your Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and pursue business opportunities with Nordic companies interested in expanding into the Zambian market, including preparing sales presentations, proposals, and follow-up communication.
· Maintain and grow a pipeline of B2B leads by engaging with potential partners, customers following up on inquiries, and representing the organization in sales meetings, trade fairs, and stakeholder dialogues.
Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies for sustainable development projects
Engage with both government and private-sector stakeholders in Zambia and Denmark
Assist with organizing multicultural events, exhibitions, and public awareness campaigns
Contribute to building strategic partnerships and maintain relationship with customers
Manage CRM, digital channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), and outreach content
Coordinate meetings, travel, and documentation for cross-border business activities
What We’re Looking For:
Relevant experience in sales, marketing, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Familiarity with Zambian markets and/or public sector operations is essential.
Experience working with Nordic companies or in international business is a plus
Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Danish is desirable
Self-driven, organized, and confident working in a multicultural environment
Ability to work flexibly and independently, with a collaborative mindset
