About the Organization

The China Cultural Center in Denmark, established under the bilateral agreement between China and Denmark, is an official cultural institution dedicated to strengthening cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and people‑to‑people connections between the two countries. To further enhance our capacity for cultural collaboration, we are seeking a dedicated and culturally engaged Cultural Officer to support our mission and contribute to the development of friendly relations between Chinese and Danish communities.

Job Responsibilities

As a Cultural Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Center’s cultural mission. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating cultural programs, events, exhibitions, workshops, and public activities that promote Chinese culture in Denmark.

  • Facilitating communication and collaboration with Danish cultural institutions, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Assisting in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of cultural exchange projects between China and Denmark.

  • Supporting outreach efforts, including communication with local communities, cultural organizations, and educational institutions.

  • Preparing bilingual (English/Chinese) communication materials, project documents, and event descriptions.

  • Contributing to the development of new cultural initiatives that enhance mutual understanding and strengthen people‑to‑people ties.

  • Providing administrative and logistical support for cultural programs and visiting delegations.

  • Professional proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international institutions.

  • Previous experience in a Chinese cultural institution is an advantage.

  • Flexibility to work overtime when required to support events and activities.
