In this role, you will craft compelling stories, develop engaging content across various platforms, and communicate our mission: transforming cutting-edge climate tech research into real-world impact by mobilizing students and scientists to climify their career, research and potential ideas. Your ability to understand and communicate to diverse audiences - researchers, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders – will be key to amplifying our work and inspiring action. 

The job
As our Content Creator, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering content that highlights our startups, researchers, and initiatives. Your work will help drive engagement across our platforms and strengthen our presence within the climate tech ecosystem. 

Your key responsibilities: 

  • Translate science into impact: Communicate complex research through engaging content for diverse audiences, from investors and policymakers to students, scientists and entrepreneurs. 
  • Drive digital storytelling: Create motivating and engaging content (articles on Substack and LinkedIn posts) that aligns with our visual identity and messaging. 
  • Create compelling content: Craft engaging written stories and design visually appealing graphics that explains our mission and showcase our deep tech ventures and their journey from lab to market.  
  • Manage and update our website: Ensure our online presence reflects our latest projects and achievements (we use Sitecore). 
  • Engage with our community: Foster dialogue with startups, researchers, and stakeholders across digital and physical platforms. 

Our expectations of you
We are looking for a new colleague with:

  • self-drive as communicator with a passion for climate action, deep tech innovation, and engaging people. 
  • strong storytelling skills - both written and visual - with the ability to make complex topics accessible. 
  • experience in digital content creation, and using graphic tools like Figma, InDesign and Illustrator (video production and photography is a plus). 
  • basic knowledge of web content management (experience with Sitecore is a plus). 
  • a proactive, hands-on mindset - someone who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Salary and appointment terms
Salary and appointment terms are in accordance with the OAO-S Joint Agreement and the organization agreement for Office Clerks, Laboratory Technicians and IT staff (HK/stat) or the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).

Working hours are on average 20 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. Starting date is 1 August 2025 (or according to mutual agreement). 

You will be employed at DTU Skylab, and the workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus, Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark.
