One of our colleagues is going on maternity leave, and we are therefore looking for a new colleague to join our team for a year. 
Your main role will be to manage a portfolio of communication packages for Danish and European research projects. 
The profile we are looking for is a strong communicator, comfortable with operating on multiple platforms and mastering multiple media and content formats, with a keen eye for visual communications and a go-do-it approach to the tasks, be they big or small. 

Your responsibility will span from independent content creation and project communication to coordination of activities, updates of text, web, and presentations. 

The job
We support a range of externally funded projects. Your task is to develop and execute communication plans for the projects. This includes ongoing dialogue with project leaders and the production of content across platforms. In addition to this, you will also be part of maintaining the department’s communication channels, including website, LinkedIn and YouTube. 

Our expectations of you
You have at least three years’ experience working in the areas above. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working with the following:

  • Communication project coordination
  • Visual communication, especially graphic design and video filming and editing
  • Content production
  • Adobe Creative Cloud software
  • Canva
  • Social media management

You can produce high-level content both in quantity and quality. You must have excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English. Communication skills in Danish is an advantage. 
Personality-wise, we are looking for a colleague who enjoys working with others to produce impactful communication.

Salary and appointment terms
Salary and appointment terms are in accordance with the OAO-S Joint Agreement and the organization agreement for Office Clerks, Laboratory Technicians and IT staff (HK/stat) or the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). 

Your main work location will be at DTU Campus Risø near Roskilde, but with regular days at DTU Campus Lyngby. 

The position is a full-time position 37 hours/week and start date is 1st September 2025.
