ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are looking into new opportunities and therefore we are looking for a new Business Manager for Strategic Customer in the Wind Energy Sector.

You will be a key resource in our sales team, responsible for developing and maintaining strong business relationships with customers

As Business Manager, you will be responsible for developing a long-term, value-adding partnership with major clients in the wind turbine industry. You’ll work closely with both the client and internal stakeholders across engineering, production, and senior management to ensure high-quality delivery and long-term collaboration.

You will report directly to our CEO, with a Team Lead handling the daily coordination of the sales team.

Travel must be expected between 20-30 days per year.

The work location can be either Holstebro or Køge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic planning for the accounts in cooperation with management.
  • The daily customer contact and follow-up.
  • Processing of technical concepts and quotations.
  • Order- and contract negotiations.
  • Contract management, including legal and commercial aspects.
  • General sales activities including expanding scope of supply.
  • Prioritization of customer and pipeline projects.
  • Budgeting on volume and revenue.
  • Cross-functional coordination between internal departments and the customer
  • Forecasting, reporting, and follow-up on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Market intelligence.
  • Marketing activities such as exhibitions, delegation etc.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

  • You hold a relevant higher education degree (e.g. engineering, industrial management, or similar) or proven record from a similar position.
  • 4+ years of commercial experience in key account management
  • Industry experience from wind or related industries is highly preferred
  • Proven track record managing complex customer relationships and negotiations
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken and conversational in German

You are able to build strong, trust-based relationships with colleagues and external partners. You work in a structured and strategic way, with attention to both details and the big picture. You possess technical insight and can navigate complex decision-making environments

You have a solid hands-on approach, you can work independently, not afraid to take responsibility and follow the tasks through to completion. In addition, you are characterized by your flexibility, good communication and collaboration skills.

As a person, you are trustworthy and positive, you are a team player with a collaborative mindset, a good colleague who helps make it fun to come to work. You have a high drive and thrive like a fish in the water with a busy everyday life where deadlines can be short.
