As the person responsible for the Wet Lab and GMO Lab, your core mission is to manage and develop these facilities to meet the needs of our users and expand the possibilities of biological technologies at DTU Skylab. In addition, you will collaborate closely with DTU Skylab colleagues supporting activities and projects within the field of biosolutions, with close ties to Chemical Lab and FoodLab.

In your daily work, you will play a key role in strengthening Skylab’s community within biology and related disciplines. • Inspire, guide and challenge users in innovation, idea and product development, and prototyping based on the possibilities offered by our labs.
  • Help build and nurture a bold community of lab users by contributing to programs, special courses and other lab-relevant activities.

We imagine that you:

  • Are a well-organized individual with solid hands-on experience working with biology and biotechnology in a lab setting.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
  • Are curious and proactive in learning new methods and gain new knowledge, while ensuring smooth daily lab operations.
  • Enjoy training and supporting students and startups with diverse challenges in lab experiments and prototyping, and thrive in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
  • Communicate clearly in both Danish and English and value collaboration across disciplines and backgrounds.

What we offer
At DTU Skylab, you will step into a central and meaningful role at the intersection of academia, innovation, and entrepreneurship. You will join a vibrant and dynamic environment where new projects and challenges arise every day. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of biology and biotechnology innovations at DTU Skylab and across DTU, working hands-on with student projects and startups.
