We are looking for an experienced Chef to lead and help develop our busy Mexican Restaurant in Copenhagen Denmark.
You should have a minimum of 5 years experience in managing food production and culinary operations from a 5 star hotel or resort.
You will be responsible for the kitchen and will work with management to plan, implement and develop new menu items in line with seasons and local trends
Supervise the kitchen team to run the kitchen at a high quality level while maintaining acceptable food cost.
Ensure that high level of food safety managenent and precautions are always in place.
Motivate, supervise and discipline team members to ensure their capabilities meet the needs of the guest and the organisation.
Develop and construct staff training programs for the kitchen as well as preparing monthly staff schedules
Excellent reading, writing and oral profficiency in English
Understanding of a Scandinavian language and/ or culture is a plus but not essential
Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint
