At T1A Group, we are proud to be a frontrunner in the circular economy. We buy, refurbish, and sell used IT equipment, giving devices a second life and significantly reducing e-waste and carbon emissions - we operate with a clear purpose: to protect the planet by ensuring no IT goes to waste.
We serve some of the world’s largest corporations, handling sensitive data securely and responsibly. Our compliance function is central to our purpose – and now, we’re looking for a new Compliance Manager to lead and scale this critical area.
Are you ready to join a team of Circular Superheroes?
About the Role
As our new Compliance Manager, you will have a broad role with key influence.
You will report directly to Jacob Dahl Eriksen, COO, and become an integral part of the broader Administration team(s), working alongside colleagues in compliance, finance, controlling, and IT.
This is a broad and impactful role where you’ll act as a bridge builder and gap filler across the entire organization – helping embed compliance into daily operations, guiding risk-based decision-making, and enabling responsible growth.
You’ll take full ownership of our compliance framework across all three lines of defense, lead internal and external audits, and ensure we maintain and continuously improve our growing set of certifications.
You will also play a leading role in digitizing and automating compliance through our compliance platform – making processes more efficient, transparent, and scalable.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation and ongoing development of T1A’s compliance framework
Drive compliance integration across departments, locations, and functions
Maintain and improve our management systems and certification compliance
Ensuring ongoing alignment with certification requirements, internal policies, and external regulations and legal compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO standards, WEEE Directive, etc.).
Prepare and coordinate internal and external audits
Help identify, assess, and mitigate operational and compliance risk
Handle incident reporting and ensure structured follow-up
Develop and embed effective policies, procedures, instructions and documented internal controls – in collaboration with relevant teams
Support key data security and data erasure processes, especially for global key accounts
Drive the automation and digitization of compliance workflows
Support the organization with awareness, documentation, and compliance training
Your Profile
We’re looking for a proactive, structured, and pragmatic profile who thrives in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. You’re passionate about turning complexity into clarity — and compliance into an enabler for business success.
You may bring:
Relevant academic background in compliance, risk management, law, economics, IT, or a similar field
Experience in a regulated or certified environment
Familiarity with ISO standards or management systems
Strong communication skills in Danish and English
Collaborative and solution-oriented mindset
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to translate regulation into real-world, value-adding practices
Using digital tools and systems to enhance compliance transparency
Proactive, structured approach and a genuine interest in improvement and automation.
“Experience is great — but mindset and drive matter most.” COO, Jacob Dahl Eriksen
