Aftermarket Leader for Afinitas A/S, Brønderslev

Become part of a globally focused company where you will be responsible for leading a team of Aftermarket representatives who are focused on supporting our customers’ wear & spare parts needs, promoting service and spare parts packages, and strengthening new and existing customer relationships.

Your role will be to strategically grow the aftermarket business through leading and developing the customer service team, making periodic visits to customer sites to understand needs and promote services & offerings, closely collaborating with internal teams within sales, engineering, product management, service, and ops to execute and align with customer’s needs.

Responsibilities and tasks

Aftermarket sales is focused on driving growth of spare parts, replacement molds and upgrades, Alliance Part Packages, service contracts, and other products as determined by the business to support growth of Afinitas aftermarket.

As Aftermarket Leader, your areas of responsibility will be:

  • Leadership and development of the Danish Aftermarket team. Establishing goals, setting priorities, and coordinating activities for Aftermarket Representative team members to achieve or exceed business and financial objectives.

  • Manage key P&L drivers, ensuring optimal availability, reliability, and budgetary performance; including but not limited to setting sell prices, reviewing and recommending part stocking levels, and analyzing sales financial data to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Executing operational activities including creating customer quotations, quote follow up, order entry, investigating customer order history and part investigation.

  • Analyze business metrics, identify performance gaps, and implement effective countermeasures.

  • Support, develop and execute strategic plans to maximize business potential, expand penetration in current European markets, and assess opportunities in adjacent market spaces.

  • Support monthly forecasts and annual budgets for the Denmark Aftermarket department.

  • Provide technical information by answering questions and requests; demonstrate company’s product capability by preparing and conducting sales presentations and training materials as necessary.

  • Negotiate terms and pricing on sales contracts; close orders to meet sales budgets and quotas

  • Coordinate sales efforts with other Sales and Service team members as necessary.

  • Collaborate with internal departments in all areas related to aftermarket sales processing; coordinate the transfer to operations upon order acknowledgement 

  • Monitor competitive activity and trends in the marketplace; determine value management/positioning of company product in the market and competitive differentiation

  • Represent the company at trade shows, voice of the customer visits, and other promotional activities.

  • Collaborate with other E&A Aftermarket Leaders to drive efficient and accurate cross-site quoting - Denmark, Germany, US

  • Drive exceptional communication across aftermarket teams focusing on customer updates related to accurate commitment dates and timely updates and intercompany communications.

  • Collaborate and cooperate with internal departments (ops, supply chain, engineering) to set and successfully achieve order lead times to customers, maximizing OTD performance.

Who are you?

You may have a bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or similar. It is preferred that you have at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably from a similar industry. You are able to execute strategies with a focus on organizational growth.

You can motivate, lead, and develop a team to maximize their performance and meet or exceed financial, divisional, and organizational goals.

You are looking for an exciting international job that combines office work and travel (up to 30 - 50 days per year) to customer sites.

You have excellent communication skills and can communicate in Danish and English in writing and speaking - also when it comes to technical information. Other languages ​​will be a plus.

It is important that you can manage time and multiple projects simultaneously, think analytically and out of the box, and can produce manufacturing drawings.
