We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Asian restaurant in Denmark and are looking for a talented and passionate Wok-chef/chinese chef to be part of our founding kitchen team. This is a great opportunity to grow with a new business and help shape our menu and kitchen culture from the beginning.
Position Overview
As our Wok Chef, you will play a key role in delivering high quality stir-fry and wok based dishes. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in creating flavorful, beautifully presented meals.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook authentic Asian wok dishes (noodles, fried rice, stir-fry specialties).
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portion control.
Maintain a clean and organized wok station.
Follow Danish food safety and hygiene regulations.
Assist with ingredient preparation and inventory management.
Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Wok Chef or strong wok cooking experience.
Ability to handle high heat cooking efficiently.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Basic English required; Danish is an advantage.
