We are looking for a Junior QA Specialist to join our growing company at our sites in the Copenhagen metropolitan area (Bygstubben 9, 2950 Vedbæk and Fruebjergvej 3, 2100 Copenhagen). The role is on-site and will be split between the Vedbæk and Copenhagen locations, with an approximate 75/25 time distribution.
Your main responsibilities and tasks
Working as a Junior QA Specialist at Cmbio, you will focus on driving the daily operation and maintenance of our QMS, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and GxP standards, and carrying out routine QA tasks such as handling deviations, managing changes, and performing document control.
You will also have the opportunity to support continuous improvement initiatives, shaping how we work both internally and in collaboration with clients. You are expected to apply a pragmatic, detail‑oriented approach to quality work and show a strong willingness to learn and develop your QA skills over time.
Who are we looking for?
It is required that you have:
A bachelor’s degree in natural science, engineering, or medicine or a Professional Bachelor’s degree (Danish: professionsbachelor) in a relevant field (e.g., nurse, laboratory technician)
Experience working with or under a QMS
Full professional working proficiency in English
It is preferable, but not required, that you have:
Experience working with analytical chemistry
Experience working with metabolomics
Experience working with HPLCs or GCs
A master's degree in natural science
Experience working under GxP standards (e.g., GCLP, GMP, GCP)
Experience working in QA
Experience with inspections from regulatory authorities
Experience maintaining an eQMS
On a personal level, you are expected to:
Be organized, and able to work independently but also be good at collaborate with your QA colleagues and other departments
Be a strong communicator, able to convey quality concepts clearly to diverse audiences
Have a solution-focused approach while consistently applying a high-quality mindset in your daily work
