Would you like to help give new first-semester NoVA students an unforgettable start to their studies?

Employment begins on 1 June 2026 – the position is based in Copenhagen.

Interviews will be held in Week 20.

Job Responsibilities

  • Welcoming, guiding, and supporting new students in the programme
  • Providing information about first-semester activities
  • Informing students about the NoVA study structure, the collaboration with Aalto University (including AOL), and AAU’s internal organisation and leadership
  • Participating in planned training days/meetings for tutors
  • Maintaining an overview and taking responsibility for events
  • Ensuring that tutors comply with the established financial framework
  • Taking responsibility for academic and social events related to study start
  • Being available around the beginning of the semester
  • Planning and taking part in introduction days and introduction weeks
  • Offering campus tours
  • Advising on project writing from a process perspective

We expect that you:

  • Have a good sense of practical planning and coordination
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Work well collaboratively
  • Contribute with a positive attitude
  • Are structured and responsible

Additionally, you are expected to be available in the period leading up to and around study start, helping to establish a solid foundation for a good beginning for the new students.

A total of 2 × 15 hours is allocated (shared between two tutors).

Students with solid knowledge of the programme as well as AAU’s structure and leadership will be preferred.

Salary and terms of employment  
Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement for Student Instructors at Universities etc. (Official title: Overenskomst for studenterundervisere ved universiteter mv.). Employment is conditional upon being a student.

There is a mutual probationary period of 3 months for the position.
