We are looking for a highly motivated and independent staff scientist
to support our efforts at the LEO Foundation Skin Immunology Research Center (SIC) commencing 1 May 2026.
Our research LEO Foundation Skin Immunology Research Center (SIC) is dedicated to improve understanding, preventing and treating skin diseases affecting a quarter of the world’s population. Anchored at the Department of Immunology and Microbiology (ISIM) at the University of Copenhagen, SIC brings together Danish and international researchers to explore and uncover the complex mechanisms behind skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and other chronic skin disorders. Supported by the LEO Foundation, SIC uses cutting-edge technologies and collaborates closely with hospitals and research institutions to ensure that discoveries benefit patients worldwide.
Your job Your tasks will be
- Support data collection, recording relevant material for reporting.
- Preparation of KPI reports and contributing to the LEO Foundation annual report in accordance with the annual cycle of the Center.
- Prepare input for Management’s decision-making.
- Provide support activities, including coordination of meetings, documentation and follow-up tasks in agreement with the Center Management.
- Maintain registers and monitor registration-related tasks.
- Assist with the execution of scientific seminars, educational activities and other Center events in collaboration with Center Management.

Profile We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic staff scientist with the following competencies and experience:
Essential experience and skills - You have documented experience in ResearchFish
- You have an active interest in event execution, and enjoy helping and providing excellent service to others
- You have proven ability to envision, plan and execute a research project
- Excellent English skills, written and spoken
Desirable experience and skills - Experience and knowledge in SurveyXact
- Technology-driven
- Service-minded
Place of employment The place of employment is at the Department of Immunology and Microbiology, University of Copenhagen. We offer creative and stimulating working conditions in dynamic and international research environment.
Terms of employment The average weekly working hours are 30 hours per week.
The position is a fixed-term position expiring on 31 December 2028.
Employment will be in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations). The monthly salary will be based on the number of years of work experience (seniority) with the possibility to negotiate a salary supplement based on prior experience and qualifications. The employer will pay an additional 18,07 % to your pension fund.
