We need more colleagues to cover our resource needs and are looking for employees for our Warehouse.

The Warehouse Receiver plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of inventory control, warehouse management, shipping and receiving within Newrest CPH catering facility. This position involves collaborating with assigned team and coordinating daily activities related to inventory handling.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and Inspection:   Accurately receiving incoming shipments of food, beverage and equipment. Inspect items for freshness, quality, quantity, and compliance within specification. Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping (including Purchase Orders, Receipt Notes, Proof of Delivery, etc.).

• Put-away: Utilize warehouse management system (Winrest) for real-time inventory visibility. Maintaining First In, First Out process during put-away process. 

• Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory storage areas (Freezer, Cooler and Dry). Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies as needed. Collaborate with other team members to optimize inventory flow.

• Quality Control: Adhere to food safety standards, include cold chain management. Implement HACCP guidelines for tracking food production.  Report any discrepancies or issues promptly (including temps out of spec, damaged product, etc.).

• Communication: Work closely with purchasing, kitchen staff, suppliers, and other relevant departments. Communicate effectively regarding inventory status, shortages, and surplus. Equipment Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.

• All other duties as assiged based on operational needs

Qualifications:

•  High School diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management or food related industries preferred.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

•   Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

•  Forklift certification is mandatory.

• English skills

You must live in Denmark or Sweden and to pass a security check.
