Job description
We are looking for a motivated individual for a 6-month fixed-term position, starting 1 May 2026 or soon after in agreement with the Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports. You will join a collaborative and inclusive research group where independency, reliability and mutual helpfulness are personal skills highly appreciated.

The position is embedded in the PREPARE research project. The project examines the effect of pregnancy weight loss on maternal and offspring health outcomes. Your job
Your main tasks will be to conduct standard assessments of physical and mental and development and collect and process a variety of biological samples from infants (3–12 months) who participated in the PREPARE study. Accordingly, prior experience with working with mothers and young children is essential.

List of essential qualifications:

  • You have a relevant scientific degree in Nutrition, Physiology, Medicine, Biology, or similar
  • Excellent English and Danish skills written and spoken
List of valuable experience and skills:

  • You have practical experience with conducting human clinical trials, especially research involving mothers and infants
  • Proficient communication skills and ability to work in teams

The place of employment is at the Department of Nutrition, Exercise, and Sports, University of Copenhagen. Terms of employment
The position is open from 1 May 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. The average weekly working hours are 37 hours per week. The position is fixed-term position limited to 6 months.
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
