As Quality Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that every new train meets our high quality standards and is ready to serve the public transport of the future.
Welcome to Quality & Safety At Quality & Safety, you will be part of a team of 14 supportive and experienced colleagues, led by our manager Jesper, in a collaborative community with a focus on knowledge sharing, teamwork and development.
We often travel as our new trains are produced, tested and commissioned at different sites in Europe. This allows us to work closely with the processes and contribute to finding the most effective solutions. We emphasize helping each other and creating an environment where everyone can thrive and develop.

Your daily work As Quality Manager, you ensure that DSB receives new high-quality trains by working closely with internal and external stakeholders from production to commissioning.
A typical day might start with you reviewing the status of open quality reports and ensuring that quality deficiencies are being followed up. Then you might participate in a meeting with one of our train suppliers, where you discuss progress and any challenges.
After a nice lunch with your colleagues, you conduct a quality audit at a subcontractor, where you review specifications and documentation. Before the day is over, you complete an audit report that you send for follow-up so that all processes are kept under control.
Your most important tasks are
It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the rail/passenger transport sector and of quality and production management in an international make-to-order company. You are prepared to travel as part of the job.

- Plan, lead, and carry out quality audits at suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare reports and follow up on the rectification of quality deficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with requirements from quality management systems and relevant standards.
- Participate in project meetings and help ensure a high standard of quality throughout the process.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the rail/passenger transport sector and of quality and production management in an international make-to-order company. You are prepared to travel as part of the job.
We imagine that you have
- A relevant degree in engineering or a similar field, and an overall technical understanding including validation principles.
- Lead audit experience in make-to-order companies, working according to ISO 9001 / IRIS 22163.
- Experience from major procurement projects, including Q-gates/phase transitions and risk-based management.
- Good communication skills in Danish and English.
