About Bevar Ukraine
Bevar Ukraine is a humanitarian NGO founded in 2014. Our purpose is to provide humanitarian and medical aid to Ukrainians in need. Over the past 8 years we have sent more than 430 trucks of humanitarian aid from Denmark to Ukrainian hospitals, orphanages, educational institutions and elderly homes. Bevar Ukraine has established itself as a reliable and trustworthy humanitarian organisation. We have developed our expertise by working and communicating with Danish and Ukrainian governmental institutions, businesses, media, NGOs, and volunteers.
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Project Assistant to help with implementation of a Recovery Ukraine project - a key initiative aimed at integrating refugee communities, businesses, public institutions for the capacity building, competences development for the projects focusing on rebuilding Ukraine and bridging Denmark and Ukraine for the further cooperation on this field. You will work closely with our Project Manager, partners, and stakeholders across diverse sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day project activities, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
Manage administrative and logistical elements, e.g., budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and event coordination
Develop progress reports and visibility materials for donors and stakeholders
Support stakeholder engagement and communications (including community outreach and networking)
Organize and facilitate workshops, trainings, and partner meetings
Ensure documentation and reporting aligns with donor requirements
Qualifications
Education: at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business economy, social sciences, development, public relations, project management)
Experience: 4 - 6 years in similar roles (NGO, public sector, business development with exposure to project coordination, budgeting, and report writing)
Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent written and spoken English and Ukrainian (Danish is a plus)
Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to network, engage partners, and maintain relationships
Ability to work diplomatically and value multicultural environment
Assets: Strong knowledge of the Danish landscape in the sectors of energy, water infrastructure, waste management, experience with the programs for the communities development, familiarity with Danish/European funding frameworks, event management,

Salary & Terms
Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Start date: July 15, 2025 or upon agreement
Contract length: till end of 2026 with potential extension based on funding
