Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management Faculty of Science University of Copenhagen The Postdoc position is focused on Arctic coastal morphology and remote sensing and is embedded in the project
Sediment transport pathways in the coastal land margin between the ice and the ocean. The project deals with unraveling the sediment fluxes through the landscape and includes detailed field work on the morphodynamics at two sites in Greenland, and with upscaling of the detailed findings by using remote sensing techniques. The Postdoc will be responsible for integrating the field observations with remote sensing data, and for upscaling the results to a regional level.
The postdoc’s duties will include research within physical geography and geomorphology as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.

Terms of employment Employment is full-time and for 32 months (2 years and 8 months). The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
