About the Role
Brøndby IF is seeking an Operations Director with responsibility for the club’s operational performance and delivery.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will professionalize and optimize operations with a focus on safety, quality, scalability, cost efficiency and support of the club’s ambitions and future growth.
You will create structure and clarity in a multi-faceted organization, ensure scalable and reliable operations across matchdays and daily activities strengthening the fan and customer experience.

You will lead leaders and establish clear structures, standards and accountability across all operational functions.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Ownership
Operational ownership across facilities, pitches, security, F&B and lounges.
Ensure clear accountability, cross-functional coordination and consistent execution. Own the operating system and performance standards, with issues resolved at the lowest level possible and highest level required by the root cause.
Operating Model & Leadership
Establish a clear operating model and lead functional heads to ensure:
Defined roles, decision rights and KPIs
Clear objectives and performance standards
Scalable processes and strong operational discipline
Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Operational Excellence
Drive a disciplined LEAN-based operating model focused on:
Standardization and waste reduction
KPI-driven performance management
Continuous improvement
Ensure stable, scalable operations and consistent high-quality delivery.
Cost & Value Creation
Drive improvements in customer satisfaction, efficiency and cost performance.
Ensure transparency in revenue drivers, unit costs and operational performance, linking operations directly to business results.
Supplier & Procurement Leadership
Lead a structured approach to procurement and supplier management across key operational areas:
Strategic supplier categorization and differentiated procurement strategies
Transparency in cost, performance and contracts
Alignment with operational and business objectives
Elevate procurement from transactional purchasing to strategic value creation.
Profile
Supplier & Procurement Leadership
Relevant degree within operations, engineering, supply chain or business. LEAN or similar operational excellence training preferred.
Experience
10+ years leading customer-facing operations
Proven track record in process optimization, cost reduction and vendor management
Experience leading leaders and cross-functional organizations
