Interior specialist, FF&E and Project Styling
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who works fluently with interiors and styling and who understands how a project is fully brought to completion. You have proven experience leading FF&E and procurement, with a trained eye for proportion, finish, comfort and how a space reads as a whole. You know the residential and hospitality world, key brands, design history and emerging talent. You understand how materiality and objects shape daily life and you can bring every layer into a coherent, complete interior.
About David Thulstrup
David Thulstrup is a Copenhagen-based architect and interior designer working internationally with private homes, transformations, restaurants and hospitality.
He founded his studio in 2009 after formative years with Jean Nouvel in Paris and Peter Marino in New York. Prior to his career in architecture, David worked as a stylist, and the rigorous attention to detail and layering still informs his approach and the projects today.
About the studio
In Studio David Thulstrup we are a collaborative team working closely with David, clients, and partners, taking responsibility for full delivery from first site visits and concept development to final handover. Projects are shaped by David’s direction and sensibility and carried forward by a team that deliver with precision and care. The projects are unique and international in scope. We value the effort, ideas, and judgement each person brings, and we protect the intent and deliver a complete result.
The role
You will lead the FF&E and procurement process from design development through installation, handover, and photography in collaboration with our PR team. This includes FF&E specifications, sourcing, budgeting, ordering and logistics, site coordination, and final styling in close collaboration with either David or the project team. You have done this before and understand what it takes to deliver distinctive projects.
In practice you will
• Lead FF&E selections and specifications, including samples
• Run procurement: quotes, orders, lead times, logistics and claims
• Prepare clear options for David and client and comparisons for approvals
• Coordinate with the project team to align drawings, specs and procurement
• Support installation and completion lists to ensure the approved intent is delivered
Who you are
You are proactive and structured in your approach. You work with a collaborative mindset and a strong service ethic. You have an international outlook and stay curious about design, art and architecture, with a natural habit of building references and keeping up with what is emerging. You take responsibility for timelines, decisions and follow-through.
