Royal Indian ApS operates three authentic Indian restaurants located in Aarhus, Valby, and Roskilde. Weare known for traditional Indian cuisine, authentic ingredients, and high quality standards.

As part of our continued development, we are seeking an experienced Head Chef specialised in Indiancurry dishes for our restaurant in Valby.

The Position

As Head Chef, you will have overall responsibility for the operation and quality of the curry kitchen. Youwill be responsible for development, planning, and daily management of the department, and you willplay a key role in ensuring an authentic and consistent culinary experience for both restaurant guests andcatering customers.

Your primary workplace will be in Valby; however, flexibility is required as you may occasionally beassigned work tasks in Roskilde or Aarhus.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation and production of traditional Indian curry dishes for bothrestaurant service and catering.

• Daily management and coordination of the curry department, includingoperations, quality control, and production.

• Purchasing of raw materials, ingredients, and necessary supplies.

• Staff responsibility within the curry department, including shift planning,instruction, and task allocation.

• Training and supervision of staff in authentic cooking techniques, hygienerequirements (HACCP), and work procedures.

• Have documented experience in Indian cuisine, particularly curry dishes.

• Have experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or in a similar managerial role.

• Are structured, quality-conscious, and able to work efficiently during busyperiods.

• Possess strong leadership and collaboration skills.

• Comply with all applicable food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Permanent full-time employment starting from 15 March 2026.
