PEOPLE Specialist, DEI

Do you want to work with diversity, inclusion, and psychological safety in an international organisation? Are you motivated by turning good intentions into concrete initiatives that make a real difference? And do you enjoy collaborating with many different people across countries, brands, and functions?

Then you might be the PEOPLE Specialist we are looking for.

YOUR TEAM

You will join PEOPLE Care in BESTSELER’s PEOPLE department in Denmark. We are a team of 11 colleagues working with wellbeing, inclusion, and social responsibility across BESTSELLER. We support the organisation through global frameworks and local initiatives and collaborate closely with PEOPLE teams, DEI Ambassadors, and colleagues across the business.

The team is characterised by strong professionalism, close collaboration, and a pragmatic mindset. We want to make a difference – and we focus on initiatives that work in practice.

YOUR ROLE

As a PEOPLE Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting and driving BESTSELLER’s global DEI agenda. Your work will span coordination, communication, and implementation, helping ensure that DEI initiatives move from ambition to action.

You will work closely with colleagues in PEOPLE Care and stakeholders across the organisation and act as a point of contact for DEI-related questions and initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

·         Supporting the development and implementation of global and local DEI initiatives and projects

·         Coordinating DEI events, campaigns, and awareness activities across the organisation

·         Supporting the delivery of DEI-related training (e.g. psychological safety, unconscious bias, inclusive leadership)

·         Creating and sharing internal communication materials and success stories related to DEI

·         Acting as a point of contact for DEI Ambassadors and colleagues, supporting questions, ideas, and feedback

·         Supporting PEOPLE teams in adapting global DEI initiatives to local needs and sharing insights on trends and legislation.

YOUR BENEFITS

This role gives you the opportunity to build a strong foundation within DEI and in a large, international organisation. You will have responsibility from the start and the chance to gradually expand your role as you grow confident in your tasks.

With us, you will get:

  • Insight into how DEI work is translated into practice in a commercial, global organisation

  • A role combining coordination, communication, and hands-on implementation

  • Clear frameworks, strong collaboration, and room to turn ideas into action over time

YOUR PROFILE

You are analytical, curious, and motivated by working with people, culture, and organisations. You thrive in a role with many stakeholders and are able to balance values with a practical, business-oriented mindset.

You work in a structured way, follow tasks through, and communicate confidently with different audiences – also when topics are complex or sensitive.

In addition, we imagine that you:

·         Hold a relevant Master’s degree (e.g. HR, psychology, sociology, communication, organisational studies, or similar)

·         Have 1–3 years of relevant experience or a strong academic and professional interest in DEI, HR, or organisational development

·         Communicate fluently and professionally in English, both written and spoken

·         Have business understanding and can see DEI in a commercial and organisational context

·         Enjoy coordination, collaboration, and working across many interfaces.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU

Please send us your CV as soon as possible and no later than 25 February 2026. We review applications and conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and reserve the right to close the position once we have found the right candidate.
