About the Company

Autohuset Farum ApS is an established independent automotive workshop located in Farum, Denmark. The company was founded in 2013 and provides vehicle service, diagnostics, insurance-related repair preparation, and large-scale tire service operations.

The workshop has built strong and long-term relationships with leasing companies, taxi operators, corporate fleets, and private customers. Many leasing and fleet partners regularly send their vehicles – including high-value and luxury vehicles – to Autohuset Farum ApS for service, diagnostics, and repairs.

A significant part of the company’s operations involves large-scale seasonal tire service. Each tire season the workshop services approximately 2,500 vehicles and manages a tire storage system with capacity for more than 3,000 tire sets.

Due to continued operational demand and because a long-term technician has chosen to pursue other career opportunities, Autohuset Farum ApS is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join the team on a permanent full-time basis.

Job Responsibilities

·         Vehicle service, inspection, and routine maintenance
·         Diagnostics and troubleshooting using modern diagnostic equipment
·         Seasonal tire replacement (summer and winter tire change)
·         Inspection of tires, rims, and vehicle safety components
·         Preparation of vehicles for repair, paint work, and insurance-related repairs
·         Handling and organization of customer tire sets stored at external storage facilities
·         Preparing daily pickup lists for drivers responsible for tire transport
·         Coordinating tire flow between storage locations and the workshop
·         Ensuring high quality, efficiency, and safety in daily workshop operations

Tire Logistics and Operations

Autohuset Farum ApS operates a structured tire logistics system. Customer tires are stored at two external storage facilities located near the workshop. During peak tire seasons, two large vans operate daily between the workshop and storage locations performing multiple runs each day. These operations include collecting tire sets for the following day’s appointments and returning tire sets that have been replaced during the day back to storage.

Qualifications

·         Experience working as an automotive technician, mechanic, or similar role
·         Strong experience with vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting
·         Experience with tire service and wheel replacement
·         Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
·         Good organizational skills and understanding of workshop logistics
·         Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
·         Responsible, reliable, and quality-focused work approach
·         Experience in workshops with high vehicle volume or tire operations is an advantage

Language Skills

·         English required
·         Danish is an advantage
·         Punjabi, Hindi, or Urdu considered an advantage due to international taxi customers

Employment Conditions

·         Permanent full-time position (37 hours per week)
·         Working days typically Monday – Friday
