We are looking for an Advanced IT System Developer to strengthen our automation team. You will play an important role in developing and maintaining solutions that make DSB more efficient and sustainable through automation.
Want to join the Automations team? The Automation team is part of Strategy & Transformation within the direction of Strategy & Rolling Stock. Our goal is to automate manual tasks with an emphasis on making DSB more market-focused and sustainable.
We use relevant technologies to develop and maintain solutions that increase the efficiency of our workflows and create value for both employees and passengers. As an Advanced IT System Developer, you will be a key contributor in this process and have the opportunity to help shape the automation solutions of the future.
Your daily work As an Advanced IT System Developer at DSB, your role covers the entire lifecycle of automation solutions, from analysis and design to deployment and maintenance. You'll play a part in ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently.

- Developing and maintaining automation solutions and services end-to-end.
- Conducting module testing and troubleshooting to ensure system stability.
- Preparing clear and thorough solution descriptions and documentation.
- Contributing to 3rd-level support and analyzing error causes to improve system reliability.
What qualifications does the job require? We are looking for someone who is curious and takes pride in learning new systems quickly. You are motivated by creating stability and appreciate the value of good documentation. You thrive on being part of both technical and business discussions, where you can contribute to understanding and meeting customer needs.
You might recognize yourself in several of the following:
- Knowledge of RPA software such as UiPath, Blue Prism or equivalent
- Experience with SQL databases and programming in VB.NET, C#, .NET, Java or similar
- Experience with web services such as REST/SOAP and API integrations
- Ability to debug code, set up error handling, and develop reusable functionalities
