We are looking for an experienced Technical Artist to support development of advanced synthetic data, simulation, and digital twin environments. The role requires a strong combination of artistic, technical, and pipeline-oriented 3D expertise with focus on scalable production workflows for AI and computer vision applications.
Responsibilities:
Create, optimize, and maintain high-quality 3D assets and environments
Build realistic scenes for synthetic data generation and simulation
Prepare assets for real-time rendering and AI/vision systems
Optimize geometry, textures, shaders, and lighting for performance and scalability
Manage interoperability between multiple 3D tools and file formats
Collaborate with AI engineers, robotics teams, simulation developers, and software engineers
Support procedural and automated asset generation workflows
Validate assets for compatibility across rendering and simulation platforms
Required Experience & Qualifications:
professional experience in 3D production, technical art, visualization and simulation
Strong hands-on experience with:
NVIDIA Omniverse
Maya
Blender
Unity
Advanced understanding of:
USD / USDZ workflows
FBX, OBJ, GLTF/GLB, and other interchange formats
Scene composition and optimization
PBR materials, UV workflows, shaders, and texture pipelines
Lighting, rendering, and asset optimization
Experience building assets for:
Synthetic data generation
Simulation environments
Real-time rendering systems
Experience with large-scale asset management and structured content pipelines
Understanding of coordinate systems, scene hierarchies, instancing, and asset referencing
Familiarity with Linux-based production environments
Experience with Git, Perforce, or other version control systems
Strong understanding of performance constraints for GPU and real-time applications
Ability to troubleshoot cross-platform asset compatibility issues
Portfolio demonstrating both artistic quality and technical pipeline understanding
Understanding of machine learning data requirements and annotation workflows
