The role

You will play a critical role in ensuring that Umbraco is the best place to work. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming and ”hyggeligt” environment for our employees and visitors, taking care of the daily operational needs, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. From making sure there is food on the table to organizing events and ensuring every celebration is extra special, your creativity and passion for creating a vibrant workplace will shine through.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lunch, coffee, and kitchen
    • Set up and clean up the lunch and dining area (we have an external food provider)
    • Manage and clean dishes after lunch
    • Serve fruit for the afternoon
    • Coffee machines etc
    • Make sure that water coolers are in a mint condition
    • Stock the fridge with soft drinks, alcohol, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Love
    • Be the Friendly, inclusive, and smiling face of the company
    • Lend a listening ear to everyone who needs to talk
    • Onboarding: Help the buddy of a new colleague decorate the new starters table and make sure there is swag and breakfast for the new colleague
    • Buy and fix cake and bubbles for internal celebrations
    • Ensure that everyone gets a greeting on their birthday on our internal instant messaging system
    • Purchase and send presents/care packages for staff and customers
  • Culture / Events
    • Organize events for both HQ and remote employees
    • Book Padel courts
    • Coordinate company-wide volunteer events or charitable initiatives to promote social responsibility and give back to the community
    • Responsible for our Social Calendar
  • Other
    • Ensure meeting facilities are in good condition
    • Purchase office supplies, snacks, and beverages
    • Mailrun
    • Decorate Umbraco for different seasons
    • Receive packages sent to the office
  • It’s bonus if you can take care of Employee wellness
    • Manage the employee wellness program, which could include organizing fitness challenges, arranging yoga or meditation sessions, or coordinating mental health workshops
    • Facilitate ideas, so that each team can do workouts at the office
Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a take-charge attitude - someone with passion and energy who wants to be part of something bigger than themselves and most importantly wants to help ensure the “hygge” at Umbraco as a workplace.

Besides this it is awesome if you have the following:

  • You take pride in having a shining kitchen area
  • You are good at administrative work using a PC (eg. booking meetings, using Google Docs/word)
  • Ability to work independently and see what is needed
  • You like doing hands-on work - making sure practical details are in place
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Preferably experience in a similar role
  • A proactive and positive attitude
  • Speak and write English

  • Place of work: In-Person at HQ Odense, Buchwaldsgade 35, 2nd floor, 5000 Odense
  • Employment type: Part-time (30 hours per week)
  • Starting date: as soon as possible
