This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a key 3-year project in Indonesia while based in Denmark.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experience, preferably certified, International Project Manager to lead and coordinate a high-impact project in Indonesia. Over time other projects can be assigned. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects across borders, with a deep understanding of cultural, political, and operational challenges. You will be responsible for ensuring that the project deliverables are on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a large international project from initiation to completion.
  • Lead project team to foster engagement during ups and downs
  • Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain intimate stakeholder relations in Denmark and Indonesia.
  • Ensure all deliverables are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project status to key stakeholders in Denmark and Indonesia.
  • Foster strong relationships with local teams and stakeholders in Indonesia.
  • Travel frequently to Indonesia to oversee project activities and ensure alignment with company objectives.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in international and interdisciplinary project management.
  • Experience in working with projects with political motivation and stakeholders
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects (>2M Euros) across different time zones and cultures.
  • Strong project management toolbox, preferably certified by IPMA or PMI.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Skills in conflict resolution and mediation.
  • High flexibility to changing environments and adaptability.
  • Ability to identify new collaborations and business opportunities
  • Very good level of English; proficiency in Danish is an advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to Indonesia (up to 50% of the time).
  • Experience working in or with Southeast Asia is a plus.
