Metroselskabet operates and develops the metro and light rail systems in the Greater Copenhagen Area. We are committed to delivering safe, innovative, and sustainable public transport solutions that keep the city moving. 

As a Facility Manager, you will oversee the maintenance planning and performance of cleaning and architectural elements across our metro system. 

You will be working closely with our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) suppliers, contributing to both the quality and visual integrity of our public spaces. You’ll collaborate with contract management, follow up on maintenance performance through inspections and quality assurance within a broad infrastructure portfolio. 

Your Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with O&M suppliers to ensure our assets are clean, well-maintained, and graffiti-free 
  • Conduct inspections of the O&M supplier’s activities to assess and improve preventive actions to uphold, cleanliness, and visual appearance 
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure cleaning and infrastructure supports overall system reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction 

About You 

You are a hands-on, quality-focused professional who understands the impact of physical surroundings on public perception. You’re experienced in working with external suppliers and can manage day to day activities while keeping long-term cleaning and infrastructure goals in mind. 

Your Qualifications 

  • Degree in Facility Management, or a relevant technical background - OR equivalent long professional experience 
  • Experience with infrastructure maintenance, building systems, cleaning services, or public space upkeep 
  • Solid understanding of contract management and supplier collaboration, ideally within a performance-based framework 
  • Familiarity with cleaning standards, graffiti removal techniques and public space maintenance is a strong advantage 
  • Strong communication skills in English (Danish is a plus) 
  • Knowledge of relevant work and environmental standards
