As HSE Officer, you will play a key role in supporting our continued commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with colleagues across the organization to strengthen our HSE culture and ensure that our Danish sites operate in accordance with both local legislation and EagleBurgmann standards.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with our highly experienced and dedicated HSE Officer, who has successfully developed and driven several HSE initiatives across the business. Together, you will support both operational and strategic HSE activities and help ensure that health, safety, and environmental responsibility remain at the forefront of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with EagleBurgmann HSE standards and Danish legal requirements across the Ringkøbing and Vejen sites.
Drive continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental performance.
Coordinate and maintain HSE reporting, including incident reporting, near-miss reporting, and corrective actions.
Coordinate Occupational Health and Safety Organization (AMO) activities and follow-up actions.
Conduct safety walks, identify improvement opportunities, and support implementation of corrective measures.
Support internal and external audits related to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other compliance requirements.
Monitor and support achievement of HSE targets, including follow-up on Corporate HSE visit reports.
Support the QHSE department with final customer documentation and HSE-related deliverables.
Additional Responsibilities
Support ESG-related initiatives and reporting activities.
Support maintenance of HSE-related documentation, procedures, and process updates within the Quality Management System.
Provide backup support for final documentation activities.
Support administrative processes related to compliance documentation and internal reporting.
Perform ad hoc HSE and quality-related tasks as required.
Your Profile
We imagine that you:
Have 3-5 years of experience working with Health, Safety, and Environment in a medium-sized or large organization.
Possess a relevant educational background within HSE, engineering, environmental management, production technology, or a similar field.
Are certified as an internal or lead auditor for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, or have equivalent experience.
Have solid knowledge of Danish health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
Have experience with machine safety, risk assessments, and risk management processes.
Are comfortable working closely with operational departments and translating requirements into practical solutions.
Have experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as LEAN and/or Six Sigma.
Communicate fluently in Danish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Working Location
This position is based at our headquarters in Ringkøbing. Close collaboration with colleagues across departments is an important part of the role, and regular physical presence at the office is therefore expected.
We also recognize the importance of flexibility and offer the possibility of working from home on agreed days, depending on business needs and individual circumstances.
